Fondation Flow sends selected records to QuickBooks; it does not continuously import your QuickBooks file.
Accounting for Quebec contractors
QuickBooks® directly. Acomba and Avantage exports designed to reduce re-entry.
Fondation Flow prepares the accounting handoff without pretending to replace your ledger or your accountant. You review each transfer before it leaves the platform.
Product page reviewed August 12, 2026
The customer, invoice number, date and total are shown before a transfer.
A conflict, tax issue or uncertain result stops the transfer instead of guessing.
The QuickBooks workflow
From an accepted estimate to a paid invoice, with one clear confirmation at each step.
Connect your company
Authorize your own QuickBooks Online company through Intuit, then verify its name, country and currency.
Review the customer
Flow creates a new customer when needed. If a name already exists, the transfer stops for review instead of linking blindly.
Confirm the invoice
Open an accepted estimate, review the destination and total, then send the finalized invoice.
Send the recorded payment
Once the invoice is linked, send the payment already recorded in Fondation Flow. Flow reads the QuickBooks result back before marking it up to date.
Acomba and Avantage
A useful accountant workbook, without claiming a connection that does not exist.
Choose the target software and edition, select the period and whether to include customers, accepted estimates or both, then download a French Excel workbook. The edition is recorded as context for your accountant; it does not change the workbook into a provider-native format. Your accountant validates the first field mapping according to the installed modules. Downloading does not modify either accounting system.
Acomba
Customers plus separate review sheets for accepted estimates and their lines. Estimates are not invoices, and payments are not included.
Avantage
The same structured customer and accepted-estimate workbook, labelled with the selected edition for accountant review. It is not a native Avantage import file.
Clear limits
What Fondation Flow does not claim
- QuickBooks is not a two-way or continuous synchronization in this first version.
- Acomba and Avantage are structured file exports, not live integrations.
- Disconnecting does not delete customers, invoices or payments already created in QuickBooks.
- Fondation Flow does not replace the contractor’s accountant or tax review.
Direct answers
Questions contractors and accountants ask.
The answer stays explicit when a feature has a human or official-service boundary.
Must the customer already exist in QuickBooks?
No. Fondation Flow can create the customer during the confirmed invoice workflow. If the same display name already exists, Flow stops and asks for a review.
Does Fondation Flow send every accepted estimate automatically?
No. An authorized user opens the accepted estimate and confirms the invoice before anything is written to QuickBooks.
Are Acomba and Avantage connected live?
No. Fondation Flow prepares a structured Excel workbook for the accountant. The first import mapping must be validated for the installed edition and modules.
Does this replace my accountant?
No. QuickBooks remains the accounting ledger, and the contractor and accountant remain responsible for taxes, mappings and final accounting records.
